Supplemental Effects of Self-extracted Organic Nutrient Solution on the Growth and Yied of Water Spinach (Ipomoea Aquatic F.) in an Aquaponic System

Aquaponics combines two technologies, recirculating aquaculture systems and hydroponics in a closed system. The nutrients recycled from fish tanks supply for vegetables grown hydroponics, however some cases, the nutrient levels may not be sufficient optimal growth yield of plants. In this study, experiments were conducted to understand effects supplemental organic solutions on plant climbing perch-water spinach aquaponics. Experiment 1 (Exp.1) was evaluate three types leaf-based fertilizers water spinach, namely self-extracted solution (OE), popular commercial foliar fertilizers, Hydro Fulvic (OF1) TCN HUME (OF2), with dose 1%.
